A&B sponsors student art contest

The Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum is presenting an art contest for Maui’s students with the theme “Remembering Sugar: How Sweet It Was.”

The contest is open to all Maui students, grades 3-12. All entries must depict sugar and plantation life on Maui.

Winners will receive cash and other prizes and their artwork will become a museum exhibit on display to the public. Winning artwork may also be featured as merchandise in the museum’s Plantation Store.
