Event to benefit children with PKS

A fundraising event honoring Raiden Nazaiah and benefitting Pallister-Killian Syndrome kids will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Dec. 3 at the Maui High School parking lot. “Ridin 4 Raiden” is being organized by Raiden’s family.

Pallister-Killian Syndrome is a rare genetic disorder. Raiden is the first child born with PKS on Maui and the second living PKS child in Hawaii, according to an announcement.

There is a $5 entry fee or unwrapped toy requirement to enter. Children under 12 will be admitted free.

Activities will include a silent auction, car show-n-shine ($10 per vehicle), keiki activities and live entertainment. For more information, call 298-8093.
