LiFT program for families and teens

Oct 21, 2017 @ 9:00 am. - 3:00 pm.

Linking Families and Teens (LiFT), an innovative, one-day program that brings teens (ages 14-19) and their parents together, is scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 21 at a location yet to be announced.

Participants will share family values, strengthen family bonds and build skills to talk about the tough stuff, like healthy relationships and sexual health, according to an announcement.

At LiFT, families enjoy free lunch and snacks, activities and prizes. Participants also get to be part of a study and get paid for filling out surveys to help evaluate the program — up to $80 for adults and $110 for teens. There is a chance that some families will be assigned to a survey-only group, which means they will not receive the LiFT program at this time. However, those in the survey-only group will still have the chance to get paid for completing the surveys.
