Restaurant Week Wailea
The chance to enjoy special multicourse menus at Wailea’s top restaurants while supporting a good cause returns Sunday as chefs again join in for Restaurant Week Wailea.
The promotion, which celebrates Wailea’s finest cuisine while raising funds for Maui Food Bank, can be enjoyed at 20 participating resort restaurants from Sunday to Nov. 7.
Wailea chefs have created unique three-course pre-fixe menus at the special rates of $29, $39 or $49 per person, depending on the restaurant (beverages, tax and gratuity not included). Some restaurants have enhanced the promotion by creating wine pairings to savor with your meal, also at special prices.
“Restaurant Week Wailea has proudly supported the Maui Food Bank since we began this popular dining promotion in 2009,” said Bud Pikrone, general manager of Wailea Community Association.
Each participating restaurant has agreed to make a contribution to the Maui Food Bank for every pre-fixe entree sold during Restaurant Week Wailea.
Diners can select from several options for each course at most of the restaurants. Indulge with tempura-battered spicy tuna sushi, Asian braised short ribs and Maui vanilla bean brulee at the Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui’s Ko restaurant, for example. Other participating restaurants include Capische?, DUO Steak and Seafood, Fabiani’s Wailea, Gannon’s, Humuhumunukunukuapua’a, Ka’ana Kitchen, Longhi’s, Mala Wailea, Manoli’s Pizza Co., Matteo’s Osteria, Migrant Maui, Monkeypod Kitchen, Morimoto Maui, Mulligans on the Blue, Nick’s Fishmarket Maui, Pita Paradise Bistro Wailea, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Spago and Tommy Bahama.
“The holidays are nearing and Restaurant Week Wailea is once again looking forward to helping the Maui Food Bank during this time of need,” said Pikrone.
Diners may contact each restaurant directly for reservations, which are strongly recommended. No tickets, passes or coupons are needed for the promotion.
