Montage hosts Easter brunch, Rosé By the Bay
Perched above Namalu Bay, the Cliff House that fronts Montage Kapalua Bay resort will offer its ongoing popup, Rosé by the Bay, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays until the end of April. The Montage staff will be serving delectable food pairings with a variety of Rosé wines from renowned vineyards. Enjoy the sunset and a perfectly curated a la carte menu to start your evening. Open to all who are 21 years and older. No reservations necessary. Walk-ins only.
Montage Kapalua Bay will also present its annual Easter Brunch from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday in its signature Cane & Canoe restaurant. Chef de Cuisine Robert Barrera will present salads of watermelon and arugula, and baby spinach with Kula strawberries, local and imported cheeses, deviled eggs, seasonal and tropical fruits and artisanal breads. His raw bar features chilled lobster tails, poached prawns and ahi sashimi. Dig into sides of snap peas with pancetta and lemon, crispy Brussels sprouts, roasted baby rainbow carrots and potato gratin.
Chefs will hand-carve herb-roasted prime rib and serve it with horseradish cream and ruby port demi glace; and slice glazed Berkshire ham with pineapple chutney.
A children’s station features cheese pizza, chicken tenders, mac ‘n’ cheese and tater tots. Breakfast items will appeal to parents with stuffed Hawaiian sweet bread French toast and eggs Benedict. Desserts will take the holiday over the top with mini chocolate mousse cakes, lilikoi cheesecake, cookies and much more.
