‘SEEDS OF ALOHA’ TO PREMIERE AT IAO

Join Grammy Award-winner George Kahumoku Jr. for the premiere of his “Seeds of Aloha” documentary film of his life, directed by David Barry of Makai Studios. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with live music at 7 p.m., featuring George and friends, followed by the film from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Advance tickets cost $12, available by calling 669-3858 or online at www.slackkeyshow.com; $15 at the door.

FRONT STREET JAZZ & BLUES WALK IN LAHAINA

The Maui Jazz Society presents Front Street Jazz and Blues Walk on Front Street. Entertainment lineup: Melveen Leed, 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Pioneer Inn. Gordie Robell, 6 to 8 p.m. at Hard Rock Cafe, followed by Michael Powers from 9:30 p.m. to midnight. Ellen Bellerose, 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Longhi’s Lahaina, followed by R.E. Motoyer Blues Rock & Soul Revue until 11:30 p.m. Phil Smith and the Gentlemen of Jazz, 5 to 7 p.m. at Captain Jack’s Island Grill, with Blue Job featuring Vince Esquire, 7:30 to 10 p.m. Entertainment is free at all locations. WAILUKU FIRST FRIDAY TOWN PARTY

Wailuku First Friday is partnering with HMSA to present Zumba for Your Health from 6 to 9 p.m. on Market Street. Besides great food and crafts, WFF will include entertainment by Wes Furumoto, Joel Katz, Mitch Kepa, Soul Kitchen and David Fague. ‘LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS’ OPENING

The Baldwin High School Performing Arts Learning Center and Baldwin Theatre Guild present “Little Shop of Horrors” at 7:30 p.m. in the Loudon Mini-Theatre in back of the school campus. Tickets are $12 adults, $9 for seniors and $7 students (17 and younger), available at the door one hour prior to showtime. There are no reservations and seating is limited. WMD Band featuring Doug White, Paul Marchetti and George Tavy, 5 to 7 p.m. at Captain Jack’s Island Grill, followed by Benoit Jazz Works, 7:30 to 10 p.m. Sam Ahia, Marv Belew and Brian Coumo, 7 to 9 p.m. at Kimo’s. A concert featuring Emil Richards with Paul Marchetti, Shiro Mori and Danny M., 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Old Lahaina Prison, followed by Michael Paulo with Gene Argel, Michael Kennedy and Jay Molina, 4 to 6 p.m. Entertainment is free at all locations, except the Old Lahaina Prison, where a $13 donation is requested. STORIES OF HAWAII AND THE WORLD IN LAHAINA

Local storyteller and former HSPLS librarian Dave Del Rocco will present folktales from Hawaii and other places around the world such as Africa, Alaska, Italy, Laos and Philippines from 10:30 a.m. at the Lahaina Public Library.
