91st Maui Fair
A TIMELESS TRADITION! The 2013 Maui Fair will be held from today through Sunday. The Fair gives the community the opportunity to come together to enjoy an alcohol and drug free, family-oriented and educational event that has plenty of entertainment, food and fun.
Thursday 5 to 11 p.m. Maui Fair kicks off with a parade at 4:30 p.m. from Kaahumanu Avenue at the University of Hawaii-Maui College entrance to Kanaloa Avenue and ends at Maehara Baseball Stadium. An opening ceremony and entertainment will follow at 7 p.m.
Friday 5 p.m. to midnight Highlights: Special Fair Day from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; Nuff Sedd at 8:30 p.m. and Hilarious Hypnosis with Joel and Tarah from 10 p.m. in the Entertainment Tent.
Saturday 10 a.m. to midnight Highlights: 4th Annual Healthy Baby Contest from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Entertainment Stage; RoboTech FIRST demonstration at 2:30 and 5:30 p.m. fronting the War Memorial Gym and Events Arena; AIA Maui LEGO Building Competition from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Events Arena; Makaha Sons at 7:30 p.m. followed by Willie K at 9 p.m. and hypnosis fun at 10 p.m. in the Entertainment Tent.
Sunday 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Highlights: 9th Annual Chili Cook-Off from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Events Arena; RoboTech FIRST demonstration at 2:30 and 5:30 p.m. fronting the War Memorial Gym and Events Arena; Hypnosis fun at 3 and 9 p.m.; Da Braddahs at 4:30 p.m. and Kapena at 7:30 p.m. in the Entertainment Tent.
