‘DAKOTA 38’ SCREENS FOR FREE AT THE MACC

St. Patrick’s Day is coming to the west side during Lahaina’s Second Friday town party. “Early St. Paddy’s Fest” kicks off in Campbell Park from 5 to 8 p.m. with live music, family activities, food specials and more. 6TH ST. PATRICK’S DAY ‘GREEN’ RUN IN KAHULUI
Go green with the sixth annual St. Patrick’s Day 3-mile run/walk and kids dash at 5:30 p.m. at Kahului Ale House. “Run ‘Til You’re Green” includes live Irish music with Upcountry Celtic from 6:15 to 9:15 p.m. at Ale House; costume contests for “Best Male,” “Best Female” and “Best Group;” T-shirts, awards, post-race food and drinks; and a “Catch the Leprechaun” event where a prize will go to the runner who catches a “real, live leprechaun,” who will be leading the way. A 100-meter keiki dash for ages 2 to 12 will also include a chance to catch the leprechaun; medals for all kids will be offered at the finish line.
