‘THE WAY OF NATURAL TEXTILES’ BY IZUKURA

90-PLUS ARTISTS AT MAUI OPEN STUDIOS

The seventh annual Maui Open Studios event kicks off with an opening celebration and preview exhibition from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Pa’ina Building at University of Hawaii Maui College in Kahului. Self-guided tours featuring more than 90 artists will be Feb. 11 and 12 in Kihei and Wailea; Feb. 18 and 19 in Lahaina, Central Maui, north shore and Hana; and Feb. 25 and 26 in Upcountry. SUPPORT BOOK TRUST EXTRAVAGANZA BENEFIT

The MACC invites community members to watch the “big game,” aka the 2017 Super Bowl, with kickoff set for 1:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on two large screens, one in the Yokouchi Pavilion and the other in Castle Theater.
