Celebrate the 250th birthday of Queen Ka’ahumanu with protocol in honor of the Ahahui Ka’ahumanu and the Royal Order of Kamehameha, followed by a concert featuring Sonny Lim, the Lim Family, Nani Lim with Halau Manaola, and Lorna Lim with Halau Kawehilei-mamoi-kawekiu’o Kohala and emcee Alika Atay. MARCH, RALLY TO END THE VIOLENCE IN OUR SCHOOLS

“March for Our Lives Maui,” sponsored by UH Maui College in support of #standwithparkland, kicks off at 3 p.m. on the UH-MC Great Lawn in Kahului. Concert for Our Lives, featuring Jack Johnson, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson and other guest artists follows the rally at 5:30 p.m. at the MACC. As of press time, student tickets still available. Acclaimed Grammy Award- winning soprano Audrey Luna will star in the Maui Chamber Orchestra’s “Americana” concert, featuring works by Aaron Copland and others, at 7:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday at the Historic Iao Theater in Wailuku. On Sunday, Maestro Robert E. Wills and guest Conductor Michael Russell will hold a “Conversations with the Conductor” at 1:30 p.m. Tickets range from $27 to $55, and are available at the Iao Theater Box Office Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and at www.mauichamberorchestra.org.

HEAR AWARD-WINNING ARTISTS AT HO’OMAU

Na Hoku Hanohano Award-winners including Keauhou, Kamaka Kukona, Kapena, Josh Tatofi, Napua Greig, Tava Nui and Na Wai Eha perform at the Ho’omau 2018 concert from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Maui Nui Botanical Gardens in Kahului.
