CELEBRATE THE FOURTH OF JULY WITH FIREWORKS, MUSIC, MAGICIANS AND MORE Lahainatown Action Committee ignites the night skies over the historic West Maui town at 8 p.m. Wednesday with Fourth of July fireworks. Throughout the day, enjoy crafts, music, magicians, balloon artists, face painting and more at various Lahaina locations including Front Street, Campbell Park, Wharf Cinema Center, the library lawn and Banyan Tree Park. Hear live music by Haiku Hillbillys, Kapule & Friends, Chop Suey Jazz Orchestra, Na Ali’i Big Band, Maui Community Band and Nevah Too Late. No charge for attendance.
In Wailea, party at Four Seasons Resort Maui from 6 to 9 p.m. on its Oceanfront Lawn with a Fouth of July Barbecue. Delight in Americana fare such as buttermilk-fried chicken, smoked pork, corn on the cob, cornbread and more. Enjoy live music by Kalani Smythe, fire-knife dancing and balloon twisters.
