HONOR AND CELEBRATE THE RESTORATION OF STREAMS AND THE RETURN OF AGRICULTURE IN THE NA WAI ‘EHA REGION. Join Hui o Na Wai ‘Eha from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Maui Tropical Plantation for Kaulana ‘o Na Wai ‘Eha, a free event honoring and celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Na Wai ‘Eha Water Rights ruling in favor of returning the flow of water to the Na Wai ‘Eha region of Maui (Waikapu, Wailuku, Waiehu and Waihee). Learn about the many environmental, educational and community-based organizations doing good work in these areas. There will be ono food for purchase from crops grown in the four areas prepared by food vendors Maui Fresh Streatery, Pono Pies, Mo’Ono, Savage Kitchen, Ho’oulu ‘Aina, Hawaiian plate, fried ‘akule plate and Mill House coffee. All-day entertainment will include Ahumanu, Napua, Na Wai ‘Eha and hula from Halau Na Lei Kaumaka o Uka and Halau ‘o Ka Hanu Lehua.
