SEE ONE-MAN PLAY BASED ON EPIC COLERIDGE POEM

Frank Kane stars in “Albatross,” a one-man play that examines how a 300-year-old sailor cursed with immortality interacts with the modern world. The play, inspired by Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s 1798 poem, “The Rime of the Ancient Mariner,” opens at 7:30 p.m. with additional performances at 3 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at the McCoy Studio Theater at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului. LAHAINA TOWN PARTY HAS SOMETHING FOR ALL

Lahaina Second Friday Town Party covers five blocks (500, 600, 700, 800 and 900 blocks) and offers big family fun from 5 to 9 p.m. with ono eats, vendor booths, arts and crafts, keiki activities, Lahaina merchants and free music and entertainment including Maui Jam and Avery Asiu. RECEPTION OPENS MAUI YOUTH ART EXHIBITION

Celebrate young creativity at the opening reception of Youth Art Exhibition from 4 to 6 p.m. at Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center in Makawao. ANGELIC VOICES, MOVING MUSIC OPENS NEW SEASON

Maui Chamber Orchestra opens its 2018-19 season collaborating with Cornell University Chamber Singers in a presentation of Joseph Hadyn’s musical opus “Harmoniemesse” for orchestra, chorus and vocal soloists at 3 p.m. at the MACC’s Castle Theater.
