FRIDAY & SATURDAY | MACC

SHOP ‘TIL YOU DROP FROM MORE THAN 140 MADE-IN-MAUI-COUNTY VENDORS

The fifth annual Made in Maui County Festival promises the biggest shopping days of the year for those looking to buy (and possibly give) locally made products. While the “big festival” shopping is from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the MACC, early-birders who want a jump on the goods can pay $35 for an exclusive preview from 1:30 to 6 p.m. Friday. Tickets are available by calling 242-7469, ordering online at www.mauiarts.org or visiting the box office. Entry fee on Saturday is $5 with tickets available at the MACC box office on day of only. Free admission to children aged 12 and younger on both days. In addition to shopping, festival goers will enjoy ono eats and live entertainment, including Pat Simmons Jr., Marty Dread and George Kahumoku Jr. Complimentary shuttle buses will be available on Saturday to and from the War Memorial Gym and the MACC. Free parking will also be available at the UH-Maui College grass parking lot.
