PICNIC FOR POKI PRESENTS SPECIAL XMAS CONCERT
Roselani Place and Ola Na Mele Productions invite you to Picnic for Poki, a free concert featuring Mele Fong and Richard Tom — the Hawaiian Serenaders — at 11 a.m. at the Historic Kaahumanu Church in Wailuku. FOSTER PROGRAM AT MHS KICKS OFF FOR HOLIDAYS
If you’re interested in spending the holidays with a warm, furry friend, become a “Holiday Hero” to a shelter animal. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. today through Monday at Maui Humane Society, you can select specific animals to foster, returning them on Dec. 26. MHS provides necessary supplies. FIND HOLIDAY CHEER AT XMAS CHARITY CONCERT
Award-winning musicians Barry Flanagan and Eric Gilliom perform local favorites and holiday music at 5 p.m. on the oceanfront lawn of Royal Lahaina Resort in Kaanapali in a benefit concert for the 2019 Visitor Industry Charity Walk. Open to the community, as well as resort guests, the concert will be followed with DJ music and dancing until 9 p.m. Donations gladly accepted. HIKE ‘FISHERMAN’S TRAIL’ WITH SIERRA CLUB MAUI
Enjoy a moderate, pleasant walk on “fisherman’s trail” road along sandy beaches and past tidepools to Keoneuli. Meet at 9 a.m. in the Polo Beach public parking lot. Bring lunch or snacks for later.
