SIP & SHOP EVENT AT MONTAGE KAPALUA BAY

The first holiday Sip & Shop event will be an open market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Friday at Montage Kapalua Bay’s Sunset Room. Shop and sip Veuve Clicquot Rich Champagne cocktails. Local vendors are Aloha Nectar, Jewels of Maui, Moana Glass, Mala Mantra, Maui Jim, Jaxsea, Pohala, Lyric Hawaii, Maui Day and Lani & Lace. Open to all. Those younger than 21 may sip fun beverages of the non-alcoholic kind.

FOURTH FRIDAY TOWN PARTY IN KIHEI ROCKS

Come to the south shore of Maui for Kihei’s Fourth Friday Town Party from 6 to 9 p.m. at Azeka Shopping Center Mauka. KWANZAA CELEBRATION AT IAO VALLEY MONUMENT

The Maui County Kwanzaa celebration will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Iao Valley African American Monument in Wailuku. The event is free and open to the public. Kwanzaa is not a religious, political or heroic holiday. Instead, this typically seven-day festival celebrates ancestral values. Seven principles (one practiced each day) gather the family, commemorate ancestors, rededicate efforts to growth of the community and present an offering of gratitude for life’s good. SENTRY GOLF TOURNEY COMMUNITY KICK OFF

Join the fun and celebrate the Sentry Tournament of Champions, the PGA Tour’s winners-only event, at the first community kick-off day from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Campbell Park in Lahaina. The interactive and fun family day is free and open to the public and will feature giveaways and golf games. Purchase Sentry tickets here, proceeds from which benefit Lahaina Junior Golf.
