ONE-PERSON PLAY HONORS LIFE STORY OF ‘OPUKAHA’IA
The curtain rises on “My Name is ‘Opukaha’ia,” written and performed by Moses Good, at 7:30 p.m. in the McCoy Studio Theater at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului. The one-man play commemorates the 200th anniversary of ‘Opukaha’ia’s passing. Tickets are $21 (plus applicable fees) with a 10 percent discount for MACC members and children 12 and younger admitted at half price. ‘WILLY WONKA’ WINDS UP ENDEARING STAGE RUN
Baldwin Theatre Guild concludes Roald Dahl’s “Willy Wonka” at 7 p.m. tonight and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday in the H.P. Baldwin High School auditorium in Wailuku.
