In this 2017 epic comeback of the iconic Pinoy hero, Coco Martin plays the grandson of the original Panday whose life will suddenly turn upside down when he realizes that his bloodline is destined to save humanity from the evil doings of Lizardo. Starring Coco Martin, Awra Briguela and Jake Cuenca.

“THE COMMUTER” PG-13, 1:45. Drama. Kaahumanu 6.

During his daily commute from Manhattan to Upstate New York, a cop-turned-insurance salesman (Liam Neeson) is approached by a mysterious woman (Vera Farmiga), who tells him that he must locate a passenger who’s carrying something dangerous. If he fails, everyone aboard the train, as well as his family at home, will be killed. Starring Liam Neeson, Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson.

“PADDINGTON 2” PG, 1:43. Comedy, family. Kaahumanu 6.

In this sequel to the 2014 family film, Paddington Bear (voice of Ben Whishaw) tries to earn enough money to buy an antique book for his aunt’s 100th birthday, but his quest brings him into conflict with an unscrupulous actor who also wants the tome. Starring Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins and Julie Walters.

“ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD” R, 2:12. Drama, suspense/thriller. Maui Mall Megaplex.

This crime thriller dramatizes the real-life 1973 kidnapping of 16-year-old John Paul Getty III, the grandson of billionaire oil tycoon J. Paul Getty. John’s mother Gail begs J. Paul Getty to pay the kidnappers’ ransom; when he refuses, she decides to rescue her son with the help of an ex-CIA agent and Getty’s business associate. Starring Christopher Plummer, Michelle Williams and Mark Wahlberg.

“COCO” PG, 1:49. Animation, adventure, comedy. Kaahumanu 6.

Aspiring musician Miguel, confronted with his family’s ancestral ban on music, enters the Land of the Dead to work out the mystery. Starring Anthony Gonzalez, Gael Garcia Bernal and Benjamin Bratt.

“DARKEST HOUR” PG-13, 2:05. Documentary, drama, action/adventure. Maui Mall Megaplex.

Historical drama about the trials of Winston Churchill soon after he becomes prime minister of the U.K. in 1940. With Nazi armies rolling through Europe, Churchill must figure out how to rally the nation to action while many of his contemporaries advocate peace talks with Hitler. Starring Gary Oldman, Kristin Scott Thomas and Lily James.

“THE DISASTER ARTIST” R, 1:43. Comedy, drama. Maui Mall Megaplex.

The true story behind the making of “The Room,” a 2003 film that quickly became a cult hit due to its reputation as “the Greatest Bad Movie Ever Made.” This comedy-drama chronicles its production and how it emerged from the friendship between weirdo auteur Tommy Wiseau and struggling actor Greg Sestero. Starring James Franco (who also directed), Dave Franco and Seth Rogen.

“DOWNSIZING” R, 2:15. Science fiction, fantasy. Maui Mall Megaplex.

Science-fiction satire in which scientists discover a way to shrink people down to about six inches tall, hoping to use the technique to build micro communities that will reduce humanity’s impact on the environment. An Omaha resident agrees to the procedure believing he’ll be able to afford a more opulent lifestyle in his new micro village, but he soon discovers that his new home isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Starring Matt Damon, Neil Patrick Harris and Kristen Wiig.

“FERDINAND” PG, 1:48. Animation, 3D. Maui Mall Megaplex.

A wisecracking goat and three hedgehogs try to help a giant but gentle bull escape from his captors. Starring John Cena, Bobby Cannavale and Kate McKinnon.

“THE GREATEST SHOWMAN” PG, 1:45. Music, performing arts. Maui Mall Megaplex and Lahaina Wharf Cinema.

This musical about the life of entrepreneur P.T. Barnum depicts how he found fame and fortune by starting a circus in 1870’s America. The Greatest Showman posits Barnum as the creator of modern show business, and a man who believed in celebrating those who were different instead of scorning them. Starring Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron and Michelle Williams.

“INSIDIOUS: THE LAST KEY” PG-13, 1:43. Horror, suspense/thriller. Maui Mall Megaplex.

In the fourth installment in the Insidious series, parapsychologist Elise Rainier must delve even deeper into the infernal world known as “the Further” when supernatural forces target her own family. Lin Shaye, Angus Sampson and Leigh Whannell.

“JUMANJI: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE” PG-13, 1:59. Action, adventure, comedy. Kaahumanu 6 and Lahaina Wharf Cinema.

Four teenagers discover an old video game console and are literally drawn into the game’s jungle setting becoming the adult avatars they chose. Starring Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan and Kevin Hart.

“JUSTICE LEAGUE” PG-13, 2:01. Action, adventure, fantasy. Maui Mall Megaplex.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Starring Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot and Jason Momoa.

“MOLLY’S GAME” R, 2:20. Drama, Suspense/Thriller. Kaahumanu 6.

The true story of an Olympic-class skier who ran the world’s most exclusive high-stakes poker game and became an FBI target. Her players included movie stars, business titans and unbeknownst to her, the Russian mob. Starring Jessica Chastain, Idris Elba and Kevin Costner.

“PITCH PERFECT 3” PG-13, 1:33. Comedy, music. Maui Mall Megaplex, Kaahumanu 6.

Following their win at the world championship, the now separated Bellas reunite for one last singing competition at an overseas USO tour, but face a group who uses both instruments and voices. Starring Ruby Rose, Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson.

A mute cleaning lady working in a secret U.S. government lab in 1962 befriends an otherworldly, aquatic creature who’s being held there against its will. In time, she and her friends decide to help it escape from captivity, even if it means risking the wrath of a ruthless G-man. Starring Sally Hawkins, Doug Jones and Michael Shannon.

“STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI” PG-13, 2:32. Action, adventure, science fiction, fantasy. Maui Mall Megaplex and Lahaina Wharf Cinema.

Rian Johnson wrote and directed this installment of the Star Wars saga, which picks up where “The Force Awakens” left off. While Luke Skywalker teaches Rey in the ways of the Force, Skywalker’s former apprentice Kylo Ren continues to explore the Dark Side. Starring Adam Driver, Mark Hamill and Daisy Ridley.
