Fathom Events and Drum Corps International are excited to bring the 2018 DCI Tour Premiere of top ensembles of Marching Music’s Major League together for a night of dramatic, passionate and exceptional performances, broadcast LIVE to movie theatres from Detroit. This eighth annual event will feature six of DCI’s top marching music ensembles: Blue Stars (La Crosse, Wis.), Bluecoats (Canton, Ohio), Boston Crusaders (Boston, Mass.), Carolina Crown (Ft. Mill, S.C.), The Cavaliers (Rosemont, Ill.), and Phantom Regiment (Rockford, Ill.).

Joining forces with a motley group of fellow veterans to form a band unlike any the nation has ever seen, Donny discovers the power of music to face the impossible, find his voice and finally feel he has a place to call home.

The Met: Live in HD Summer Encore series presents a re-broadcast of Verdi’s Il Trovator. Soprano Anna Netrebko’s dramatic and vocal skills are on full display as Leonora, the Verdi heroine who sacrifices her life for the love of the title troubadour. Tenor Yonghoon Lee sings the ill-fated Manrico, baritone Dmitri Hvorostovsky is his rival, and mezzo-soprano Dolora Zajick is the mysterious gypsy with a troubled past. Marco Armiliato conducts Sir David McVicar’s gritty, Goya-inspired production.

After unjustly firing Kate and refusing to pay her, Leonardo falls overboard when partying too hard and wakes up on the coast with amnesia.
