Thank you to Hale Makua Health Services employees, Board of Directors and community supporters who worked so hard to raise funds for the 2017 Visitor Industry Charity Walk, and helped us raise over $81,000.
A huge mahalo to former Board Director and long-time supporter Mitch Mitchell for raising over $27,000 and placing third for individual raising the most funds! Mitch’s support in fundraising for the Charity Walk since 2003 has been an integral part of our success each year.
Many thanks to Rosie Kahiamoe, our 2017 Charity Walk Committee Chair, whose dedication and hard work made it possible to exceed our $70,000 goal for the second year in a row.
Finally, a special thank you to the Maui Hotel & Lodging Association for putting on the Maui County Visitor Industry Charity Walk. This year’s event raised over $1 million for charities in Maui County.
