Pet of the Week
Do you have the heart and home to share with a total “tenderheart” that just wants a little TLC? Well, I’d sure love the chance to get a few kisses and cuddles from you.
I’m a bashful 6-year-old loving lady that’s been through a lot lately, so a loving family sure would make my dreams come true. Back in July Maui Humane Society received a call about a dog that was trapped in a Kanaha canal that was in dire distress. When they got there, they found an amazing lady trying to hold me up out of the water by what she could reach of me. Once they got me to safety, they even named me Reina (No. H107) after the brave woman who helped me.
Shelter life is a bit loud and busy for me, so I truly love the quiet moments I get to cuddle up to a smiling face that will offer kind words of encouragement. I also love when I get to play with my canine companions during dog play groups. So if you have room for a quiet little lovebug that will absolutely adore you, then please stop by the shelter and ask if I am the right one for your ohana today.
