• Keiki after school art class “Animal Kindness Club” with Barbara Steinberg will be from 3 to 5 p.m., Wednesday to May 23 at Maui Bridge Club, Kenolio Recreation Center, 131 South Kihei Road, Kihei. • One on One Federal Agency Assistance with Rep. Tulsi Gabbard’s Maui Outreach Liaison Katie McMillan will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Maui Coffee Attic, 59 Kanoa St., Wailuku. Maui residents can get assistance with veteran benefits, Social Security and Medicare claims, passports and visas, federal student loans and much more. • Healthcare community meeting “Healthcare for All Hawaii” with Dr. Stephen Kemble and Kaniela Ing will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Kihei Charter School, 300 Ohukai Road, No. C210. The speakers were charged by the Hawaii legislature to plan healthcare for the state, and they designed a universal healthcare system that would cover everyone in Hawaii. Also on the panel will be Dr. Leslie Gise, along with others. There will be plenty of time for questions from the audience. Sponsored by Indivisible Kihei and the Kihei Community Association.
