Modern Honolulu workers OK strike

HONOLULU – A group of 260 union workers at the Modern Honolulu hotel in Waikiki have authorized leaders to call for a strike.

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reported Friday that no date has been set for a strike.

Unite Here Local 5 is representing the workers in negotiations with hotel management.
