Waiehu center sells for $3.9 million
The Waiehu Beach Center has been sold for $3.9 million in cash to a Mainland investor, according to Honolulu Realtor Joseph Leonardo, who represented the buyer.
The sale closed Friday, he said.
The 83,600-square-foot complex has two buildings and is located at 270 Waiehu Beach Road.
Anchor tenants include Shell Gas, Aloha Petroleum, a convenience store and offices, including an office for the state Department of Human Services.
Leonardo declined to identify the buyer other than to say it owns other assets on Maui and other Hawaiian Islands.
According to Maui County property tax records, the seller is Waihui LLC, which lists as its managing agent Haleakala Group LLC. That company lists Matthew Aki and April Chu as officials in state business records.
