Scholarships available for Maui High seniors

The Maui High School Foundation will award five $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors.

Tad Iwata, chairperson of the foundation’s Scholarship Committee, said the money will be given based on academics, activities, awards and honors, letters of recommendation and a short essay on “What it means to be a Maui High Saber.”

Applications are available online at and are also available at the school’s Career Center located in Room B100.

The application must be received by April 5.

The scholarships will be presented during Maui High School’s award ceremonies May 14.
