Junior promenade set for Saturday

Lahainaluna High School’s Class of 2014 will hold its Junior Promenade on Saturday in the Valley Isle Ballroom of the Westin Maui Hotel in Kaanapali. The prom theme is “Happily Ever After.”

Reigning over the formal affair will be King Taylor-Christopher “Kiko” Kohler-Fonohema and Queen Breea Rae Yamat. Kiko is the son of Patrick and Inita Fonohema of Lahaina and Brandy Hawkins of Wailuku. Breea is the daughter of Ray and Mona Yamat of Kahana.

The princes and princesses of the court will be: Jeffrey Kaimana Ancog and Ho’olaiikeao Cabanilla; Justin Bishop Tinao and Lithe Pokipala-Waiohu; Bronson Kaina and Lizelle Lazaro; Tyron Agbayani and Karen Galuardo; Jacob Naganuma and Maile Amine; Benjamin Adam Aquino and Madison Vasquez; Manny Gutierrez and Taylor Garde; and Clyde Piros and Taylor Trout.

Doors will open to the public at 5:45 p.m. Special guests with tickets will have reserved seating. Kelsey Shultz and Galuardo serve as prom co-chairpeople, with Kulani Akahi serving as class adviser.

Assisting with committee assignments are junior class officers led by Cabanilla, the class president.

Student Activities Coordinator Art Fillazar is the court dance choreographer.
