Wailuku Hongwanji introduces 8 new Eagle Scouts at ceremony

2013 Wailuku Hongwanji Mission Boy Scout Troop 40’s Eagle Scout Court of Honor ceremony was held April 27 at Wailuku Hongwanji Mission’s Temple.

The Wailuku Hongwanji Mission introduced eight new Eagle Scouts and their projects to the community.

The new Eagle Scouts and their projects are:

* Jason Chou, son of Thomas and Grace Chou, “Restoration of Wailuku Hongwanji Mission’s Temple indoor softfit ceiling.”

* Sean Domingo, son of Allan Domingo and Penny Endo, “Painting of Wailuku Hongwanji’s Obon Yagura Tower.”

* Casey Kaya, son of Clayton and Kyohee Kaya, “Construction of Chain Link Fence between Wailuku Hongwanji Mission Temple and Hawaii Commercial Sugar Company Canal.”

* Curtis Keomaniboth, son of Pavy and Jennifer Keomaniboth, “Repair Gazebo at Lahaina Methodist Church.”

* Justin Ohta, son of Warren and Kathleen Ohta, “Paint Shelves & Play Structure at Wailuku Hongwanji Mission Preschool and Rebuild Podium for Wailuku Hongwanji Mission’s Social Hall.”

* Acer Pahukoa, son of Faith N. Tengan, “Installation of 4 new Jacks and 4 new Swivel Caster Wheels on Wailuku Hongwanji Mission’s Obon Yagura Tower.”

* Tyler Yamasaki, son of Craig and Noreen Yamasaki, “Construction of 40 New Folding Tables for Kahului Jodo Mission.”

* Andrew Nagai, son of Gary and Stephanie Nagai, “Transferring Wailuku Hongwanji Mission’s Memorabilia to Panel Display.”
