Foundation announces scholarship winners
Two students from St. Anthony Junior-Senior High School have been awarded scholarships in the amount of $1,500 each for tuition assistance for the school year 2013-2014 from the Shane Victorino Foundation.
A 1999 graduate of St. Anthony Junior-Senior High School, Victorino established the Shane Victorino Foundation to promote opportunities for children in need.
The Shane Victorino Foundation Tuition Assistance fund helps student athletes who display sportsmanship, dedication and commitment to achieve academic as well as athletic excellence while maintaining grade-point averages of at least 3.0.
Micah Leval and Grayson Nolette, were presented with the scholarships by Victorino’s mother, Joycelyn Victorino, also an alumnus of St. Anthony Junior-Senior High School.
Leval is the son of Randal and Joni Leval of Wailuku; and Nolette is the son of Kevin and Wendy Nolette of Wailuku.
