Roselani Place to host tea and garden party

Roselani Place will be celebrating National Rose month with a variety of activities and events throughout June.

A piano concert and tea will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday in the lobby. Pianist Anne Ku will be performing a variety of songs about roses and flowers. Tea and refreshments with be served. This event is free and is open to the public.

Family and friends are invited to enjoy an afternoon in the shade of Roselani Place from 2:30 to 6 p.m. Sunday for a garden party and dinner buffet. The program will begin at 2:30 p.m. with games and entertainment by Patches the Clown. All ages are welcomed.

At 3 p.m. Sunday there will be Hawaiian music by the Makani Girls, followed by Maui’s own Glenn Foster at 4:15 p.m. Harpist Bobbie Jo Curley will be performing in the main dining room at 4:30 p.m.

Chef Walter Dudinow has prepared a menu of summer grilling favorites for the entree. The meal will include soup, salad and an ice cream bar for dessert.

The host for the garden party is $10. Reservations must be made today by calling 871-7720.

Roselani Place is located at 88 S. Papa Ave. in Kahului.
