Jiminez Salgado will be attending University of Colorado-Denver, where he will pursue a degree in biology or kinesiology.

The Josh Jerman Maui Nui Scholarship program provides scholarships to college-bound students who will attend a full-time program at an accredited four-year college or university.

To date, the program has awarded more than $29,000 in scholarships to Maui, Molokai and Lanai high school seniors who have displayed a passion for returning to Maui County after college to contribute to the local economy.
