Cruise to benefit Rotary club’s service projects

The Rotary Club of Kihei Sunrise will sponsor a sunset/full moon dinner cruise Oct. 19.

The barbecue dinner, prepared onboard The Four Winds II, will consist of marinated chicken breasts, pulled pork, hot dogs, veggie burgers, chips and fresh cookies. Beer, wine and soft drinks are included. The cost is $65 per person and there is a limit of 120 persons.

On-board entertainment will be provided by DJ “Dr. Love.”

Check-in is at 5 p.m. at Maalaea Harbor, slip 80. The cruise will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Proceeds from the cruise will benefit community service projects sponsored by the Rotary Club of Kihei Sunrise. Service projects include providing dictionaries for every 3rd-grader at Kihei and Kamalii schools, providing a keiki dental program and an ethics program at Kihei and Kamalii schools and providing books for school libraries and for children attending the upcoming Maui Youth Faire.
