Ho‘olaule‘a to celebrate school’s 75th anniversary
Baldwin High School’s inaugural Ho’olaule’a will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday on the school campus.
There will be food, entertainment by alumni, craft booths and an opportunity to purchase old BHS yearbooks and Baldwin’s 75th anniversary logo wear.
Food booths to benefit a variety of school clubs and projects will include chow fun, poi mochi, chicken wing dings, cheeseburgers, otai (fruit drink), Braddah Pops, poke bowls, a country store, buttered popcorn, cotton candy, nachos, Chinese pretzels, shave ice, steak and rice, Hawaiian plate, poi, kulolo, Jamba Juice, party mix, smoked meat bowls, tiramisu, pastele stew and pizza.
The entertainment stage will be led by The Hawaiian Homes Boy (Shane Kahalehau) and will feature Maui Taiko from 10 to 10:45 a.m.; Halau Kekuaokala’au’ala’iliahi from 11 to 11:45 a.m.; Ikaika Blackburn from noon to 12:45 p.m.; Inside Out from 1 to 1:45 p.m.; and Na Wai Eha from 2 to 2:45 p.m.
