Grant to enhance S.T.E.M. program
The Fred Baldwin Memorial Foundation awarded a grant of $10,000 for the St. Anthony Junior-Senior High School’s science, technology, engineering, math, robotics and Science Olympiad programs. The award will enable the S.T.E.M. departments to purchase PCs and software for programming and curriculum, robotic kits for students, and many other supplies needed to enhance the S.T.E.M. program at the school.
With the additional equipment, the Science Olympiad Team students will have the ability to build and run practice tests on the structures they will use at the Science Olympiad and other competitions, and in the classroom.
The Fred Baldwin Memorial Foundation supports programs and projects that benefit the people of Maui County, serving the legacy of Emily Alexander Baldwin and Henry Perrine Baldwin, to honor the memory of their son, Fred Baldwin.
