Program presentation at Waldorf high school

Haleakala Waldorf School invites prospective families to its program presentation beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The Waldorf high school is seeking students who love to learn, want to interact and be recognized as unique individuals, want a global experience and have a willingness to explore, investigate and be inspired, according to an announcement.

This two-hour interactive introduction to the Waldorf high school curriculum will be held on the Kaluanui campus located at the Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center. Families are asked to use the Kaluanui Road entrance.

The presentation includes an introductory talk on the educational mission of Waldorf high school and features sample Waldorf high school lessons.

Participants have the opportunity to meet high school faculty and students.

Maui’s Waldorf high school joins 40 other independent Waldorf high schools in America and is connected to numerous Waldorf high schools internationally, with opportunities for study abroad.

There are limited seats available in the 9th, 10th and 11th grades for the upcoming 2014-15 school year.
