Karina M. deBrum, a sociology major, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester at Saint Anselm College, Manchester, N.H.
DeBrum, a resident of Lanai City, is a member of the class of 2015.
To be eligible for this honor, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.0 or better.
Kylee Ann Enoki, a 2013 Mililani High School graduate, is on the dean’s list at Indiana University-Purdue University in Indianapolis.
Her major is forensic science/criminal justice. She is the daughter of Ted and Shelley Enoki of Mililani, Oahu. Her grandmother is Katsuko Enoki of Pukalani.
Michael Rummel, a 2011 graduate of St. Anthony Junior-Senior High School, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester at the University of San Francisco. Those selected to the dean’s list have earned a grade-point average of at least 3.5. Rummel is the son of Jeffrey and Elisa Rummel of Kihei.
Two Kula residents were named to the dean’s list for the 2013 fall semester at Saint Martin’s University in Lacey, Wash.
Cymbree M. M. DeCosta, a senior majoring in biology, and Justine N. Malek, a sophomore majoring in education, earned grade-point averages of 3.5 or higher (on a 4.0 scale), carried at least 12-semester-hour course loads and completed all coursework undertaken for the semester.
Jinny Lee Milani of Kula was named to the dean’s list at California Lutheran University for the fall semester. Milani is a political science major.
Students qualify for the dean’s list by maintaining at least a 3.6 grade-point average in their academic subjects. They will be recognized for their achievement at the Honors Convocation on April 29.

Lisa Levang of Kihei, Chase Rogers of Lahaina, Dane Lum Ho of Makawao, and Wailuku residents Joey Ooka, Carter Suzuki, Cayla Tokunaga and Cameron Yip were all named to the dean’s list at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Ore., for the fall semester.
To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must achieve a term grade-point average of at least 3.70 and complete 12 or more graded hours.
Timothy Nako DeMichele of Wailuku, Sydney MML Ibarra of Kahului and Aaron S. Villanova of Wailuku were all named to the honor roll for the fall term at Western Oregon University in Monmouth.
Students named to the honor roll attained a 3.5 to 3.99 grade-point average for the term.
Kauluponookaleilehua Luuwai of Kula was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
She was recognized by V. Vance Roley, dean of the Shidler College of Business, for outstanding academic achievement.
Jordan Danielle Limoli of Wailea was named to the Miami University dean’s list for the fall semester. Ranking in the top 20 percent of undergraduate students earned Limoli this distinction. Miami University is in Oxford, Ohio.
Eric Keith Sadao Nishimoto of Wailuku was named to the dean’s list for the fall term at the University of Oregon in Eugene. A grade-poinut average of 3.75 earns students this distinction.
