Hawai‘i Wildlife Fund receives boat and help

Young Brothers helped transport a boat donated to the Hawai’i Wildlife Fund for marine conservation work for free last month.

The Bayliner 222, donated by Charles Bittenbring of Captain Cook in December, was shipped from the Big Island to the nonprofit based on Maui.

Hannah Bernard, president of the nonprofit organization, said the boat, Seaque, will “help us as we ‘seek’ to better understand our nearshore ecosystems and protect them from the damages of marine debris.”
