Rotary clubs join forces to build school library

The Rotary Clubs of Kihei Sunrise and Kihei Wailea recently collaborated to purchase books for the school library for Lokelani Intermediate School.

Working with Peggy Temple, curriculum coordinator at Lokelani Intermediate School, the two clubs provided their own contributions, and generated matching funds from District 5000 totaling more than $2,500, to purchase 640 books to support the growth of the school library.

Club members recently met to adhere labels into each of the books indicating they were provided by the two Rotary clubs.
