Event promotes safe environment for keiki
The Valley Isle Keiki Fest will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday on the Great Lawn of the University of Hawaii Maui College.
Admission, parking, games, prizes, bouncing castles, entertainment and other activities are all free. Entertainers will include Marty Dread, Dance International, Maui Cheer Babes and Zenshin Daiko.
Additional activities include food demonstrations by the Maui 4-H organization, a bike safety video and challenge, Keiki ID, face painting, balloon sculptures/animals, a car show, vision screening and hands-on activities at all information booths.
There will also be food available for purchase.
The Valley Isle Keiki Fest promotes a positive, safe and healthy environment for Hawaii’s keiki, according to a news release.
This annual event is presented by the Kiwanis Club of the Valley Isle, in partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui; the 4-H Program in Maui County; University of Hawaii Maui College; and the County of Maui Department of Parks & Recreation.
