Dean’s Lists

Maya Lauren Palaroan of Makawao and Mary Geanelli Baguio Bernardo of Wailuku have both been named to the honor roll at Western Oregon University for the winter term. To achieve this honor, they earned grade-point averages between 3.5 and 3.9.

Timothy Nako DeMichele of Wailuku was named to the school’s president’s list for having a 4.0 grade-point average.

Rebecca Nakashima of Makawao was one of 1,594 students named to the dean’s list for fall at Biola University in La Mirada, Calif.

Students receive the honor for earning a grade-point average of 3.6 or higher while enrolled in 12 or more credit units and for having a cumulative grade-point average is at least a 3.2.

Sarita Anjali Bhattacharya of Haiku received academic honors from the School of Management at Binghamton University by making the university’s dean’s list for the fall semester. The school is in Binghamton, N.Y.

Michelle Rabara of Kihei has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. To qualify for the dean’s list, an undergraduate degree-seeking student must have a minimum 3.5 grade-point average for that semester and must have been enrolled for 12 or more credits that semester.

Akaneki K. Lind of Hana was named to the spring semester dean’s list at Colorado State University in Pueblo. The list recognizes undergraduate degree-seeking students who have completed 12 or more credit hours with a minimum grade-point average of 3.5. Lind earned a perfect 4.0 grade-point average.
