Primate sanctuary a top-rated nonprofit

Pacific Primate Sanctuary Inc. announced Nov. 25 that it has been honored with a prestigious 2014 Top-Rated Award by GreatNonprofits, the leading provider of user reviews about nonprofit organizations.

“We are excited to be named a Top-Rated 2014 Nonprofit,” said Erin Olson, operations manager at Pacific Primate Sanctuary. “We are proud of our accomplishments this year, including providing care and refuge to 50 threatened primates, expanding our internship volunteer programs, including a sustainability internship, installing a solar system to cut down on our monthly electric bill and doubling the size of the Capuchin enclosure.”

The Top-Rated Nonprofit award was based on the large number of positive reviews that Pacific Primate Sanctuary received – reviews written by volunteers, donors and clients. People posted their personal experiences with the nonprofit.
