Duke’s Beach House recognizes staff at Princess Nahienaena Elementary School

Duke’s Beach House recently recognized Lolita Bucaneg, Faith Hudock and Janell Caterina of Princess Nahienaena Elementary School as Educator of the Month for August, September and October, respectively. Each honoree was selected by their peers for commitment and dedication to their students.

Bucaneg, an English language learner teacher, is described as always being prepared and dedicated to her students. She has been at the school for many years.

Hudock, an English language learner teacher, was acknowledged for her commitment to help her students learn English and believing that her students can and will be successful. Hudock is described as being dedicated beyond her duties, offering before-school tutoring and volunteering with other school projects.

Second-grade teacher Caterina was selected for her outstanding work with her students, according to a news release. She was acknowledged for starting the gardening program and teaching sustainability at the school.

“We are so happy to be able to celebrate the great work that is being done at Princess Nahienaena Elementary School,” said Orama Clifft, Duke’s Beach House manager. “These educators are providing amazing support for the keiki in our community.”
