Wailea Realty raises $32K for Assistance Dogs of Hawaii
Wailea Realty Corp., a boutique of Windermere Real Estate owned by Brad MacArthur and Tom Tezak, has raised $32,000 for Assistance Dogs of Hawaii. The money was raised during a monthlong campaign in which the office committed to donating $1,000 from every home sale its agents represented during the month of March.
The donation will be made via the Windermere Foundation, which to date has contributed over $33 million toward improving lives in communities where Windermere agents live and work.
“We are so thankful to Wailea Realty and the Windermere Foundation for their incredible generosity,” said Mo Maurer, executive director of Assistance Dogs of Hawaii, adding, “This donation will go a long way towards helping us provide more assistance dogs, free of charge, to those in need.”
Assistance Dogs of Hawaii is a nonprofit organization that provides professionally trained dogs to children and adults with disabilities to increase their independence and enhance the quality of their lives. They are committed to serving people in Hawaii with special needs and provide the dogs and their care free of charge.
