Jeanne Unemori Skog recieved Maui Economic Development Board’s highest honor, the Colin C. Cameron Award, for her 33 years of service to residents.

Former Maui Economic Development Board President and CEO Jeanne Unemori Skog was honored with the organization’s Colin C. Cameron Award at the MEDB Ke Alahele Education Fund Dinner & Auction on Aug. 26 at the Fairmont Kea Lani.

“Jeanne is deserving of this award, MEDB’s highest honor, for her 33 years of exemplary service to our residents,” said Ryan Churchill, chairman of MEDB’s board of directors. “As this organization’s former president and CEO, MEDB significantly expanded its mission to lead and inspire innovation in business, education and the community toward building a vibrant economy.”

The board also established a special Entrepreneurs and Leaders Fund in Skog’s name, which will support opportunities to nurture the next generation of visionaries. The fund was launched during the benefit dinner and guests were invited to contribute to it.
