St. Anthony School is accepting reservations for its annual “Strength in Unity Gala,” which will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 28 at the King Kamehameha Golf Clubhouse in Waikapu.

“At the heart of this event are the Maui families we serve,” said St. Anthony’s new head of school, Tim Cullen. “We are humbled and grateful for the opportunity to offer an affordable quality education to those who might not otherwise be able to afford it. The Strength in Unity Gala raises money so that our students can thrive in a progressive educational experience that combines quality curriculum and 21st century learning with Christian Catholic values in the Marianist spirit.”

Cullen and Principal Rana Boone, a 1994 St. Anthony graduate, are the school’s newest leaders charged with guiding a refreshed K-12 St. Anthony campus. Air conditioning and upgraded technology were installed this summer in both the grade school and high school classrooms.

“It’s heartwarming to be able to return to St. Anthony School,” Boone said, “and see all the campus improvements. I’m also pleased to see that the tradition of support from alumni and the Maui community continues; we only hope to see it grow.”

The gala will include silent and live auctions, a performance by the St. Anthony Golden Royals Jazz Orchestra, dinner entertainment by Nevah Too Late, and the recognition of the honorees to the St. Anthony 2017 Alumni Hall of Fame and the Guardian Angel Award.

Various sponsorship and donor opportunities are available. Individual seats start at $130. For reservations and information, visit www.sasmaui.org, or contact St. Anthony School at 1618 Lower Main St., Wailuku 96793; 244-4190 ext. 268; or development@sasmaui.org.
