Homemade card for a young boy

Maui resident Deborah Waltrip saw an article on Facebook about a little boy in Maine with terminal cancer and less than 30 days to live. His parents talked about how much he loved homemade Christmas cards and were requesting people to mail them to him in hospital. Waltrip bought a large poster board and along with the neighbor children, ages 3 and 6, they decorated it by drawing and coloring and adding stickers and plenty of sand and glitter. “It felt really great to do something fun that will really be appreciated by a sick child,” said Waltrip.
