Open house set at equestrian center

The Tom Morrow Equestrian Center will have an open house Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There will be an open house at the Tom Morrow Equestrian Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

The arena will be open for riding to all equestrians who are interested in trying out the arena. Riders must bring their own horses. The Tom Morrow Equestrian Center is not a stabling facility and does not provide horses.

Riders must be experienced and sign a waiver of liability. Waivers will be available on site.

Children must be age 8 or older to ride and a waiver of liability must be signed by their legal guardian. Waiver forms may be emailed by request.

Trailer access to the arena is provided from Kapii Pl., a residential street in Haiku. The arena is located behind the 4th Marine Division Park. No riding is allowed in the park, and no dogs are allowed at the arena.

The open house will also feature a tack sale. Anyone interested in buying or selling new or used tack is welcome. Sellers are responsible for the display and sale of their own items. No fee is required but a donation to TMEC would be welcome.
