Hunt provides keiki some Easter time egg-citement

About 200 children participated in the third annual Makawao Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday morning near Oskie Rice Arena. The Makawao Community Association holds the event every year, with volunteers hiding and counting eggs as well as distributing candy to eager participants. Event organizer and association member Theresa Thompson said she enjoys putting on the event because it “brings families together with a smile.”
