MEO business center classes begin today

MEO Business Development Center’s Core Four Business Planning introductory classes are scheduled this week.

Today’s and Thursday’s class will be from 6 to 7 p.m. at MEO’s Family Center at 99 Mahalani St. in Wailuku. There will be another introductory class from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Maui County Business Resource Center in the Maui Mall.

The six-week series will begin March 12 and continue from 6 to 9 p.m. two days a week through April 23. All sessions will be held at MEO’s Family Center. Tuition scholarship funds are available.

MEO Business Development Center’s Core Four Business Planning is a 36-hour course on how to write a business plan while providing the information one needs to know to start, operate and expand a business.

Registration is required for the series and can be done at the introductory classes or any weekday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at MEO’s Family Center. Funding from the Mayor’s Office of Economic Development helps to make the Core Four Business Planning classes possible.
