Fourth Photo: More than 2,300 people from more than 70 different businesses and organizations participated in the walk. A total of $701,716 was raised.
Since its inception, the event has raised $24 million that benefit Maui County charities, said event Chairman Tom Bell, who is also president of Hawaiian Hotels and Resorts. “This was a great turnout,” he said. “Despite the threat of rain, everybody showed up. It’s a wonderful community effort to see all the businesses come out and give back to the County of Maui.”
