Henriette expected to weaken
MIAMI (AP) – Hurricane Henriette is expected to weaken as it moves across the Pacific, far from land.
The hurricane’s maximum sustained winds late Wednesday remained near 85 mph. The U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami said additional weakening is forecast by today as Henriette moves over cooler waters.
Henriette is centered about 1,235 miles east of Hilo and is moving west-northwest near 10 mph.
